Overcome The Power Of Negative Patterns

When unfavorable situations, actions and emotional conflicts happen again and again in your life, you may find yourself in the same scene, with different characters, more often than you care to admit. If so, there’s a good chance you are in the presence of a negative “pattern.”

Some examples:  constant conflict with co-workers, people-pleasing, or picking unsuitable partners/lovers.

At best, these negative patterns cause frustration. At worst, they create undue suffering, uphill struggles, sometimes even death.

The good news is: you have the power to change these negative patterns. Allow me to share with you some ways to begin disrupting your dominant negative patterns so that you can start laying down new, more positive habits. It's also helpful to keep in mind; "When you know what you don't want, you know what you do want."

Practice Your Presence.
No matter how entrenched a pattern seems, the act of noticing begins the shift away from damaging thoughts or...

Anger Mnanagement Client Review

“ I was very nervous to face my anger and stress management problems. It is an issue that has affected many aspects of my life for 30+ years. And, since this was a voluntary enrollment, it was something I put off for a long time. From the moment I first spoke with Anutza on the phone, I felt like I was in the right hands. Her calm, patient and attentive nature guided me towards the healing I needed. I appreciate both the structure of the program and her use of her own elements. It makes the program feel very personalized. I am very grateful for the changes that have occurred as a result of our work together. With love and appreciation.”~Angela R. - Beverly Hills, CA.

SEVEN DEADLY SINS - History Channel

History Channel:

The seven deadly sins, they exist in each of us; lust, envy, gluttony, sloth, greed, anger, and pride. The sin of anger had evolved over the centuries. Christian theology once said that those who commit the sin, face the eternal fires of hell. But there are some sinners who are tormented by anger even in this life.

John:

I was in a relationship. Things didn't go well, to sum it up and didn't know how to handle it, went and bought two gallons of gasoline, broke out the windows in the middle of the day time. I live in an apartment complex, filled her car up with gas, set it on fire, blew up the car in her underground parking lot. The whole place had to be evacuated and I could have killed hundreds of people.

Memo:

I snapped. I beat him up bad enough where the courts to say you know what, do five years prison time.

History Channel:

These men aren't dealing with their sin through confession and repentance but through anger management. The sin of anger is so wide spread...

Journaling For Transformation

A journal is a way of recording and reflecting on your inner life. It is a form of expressing yourself freely, trying out outrageous ideas, tapping into your inner wisdom, gaining clarity, recording your dreams, venting emotions, tracking your personal growth, and delighting in unexpected “Ahas”!

There's no right or wrong way to keep a journal. The tools are a notebook and a pen. You can use a computer, and there is even software available to support you in your journaling. However, writing by hand allows you to be more in touch with the right-brained, intuitive part of your nature. The only rule about journaling is “Allow!”

Here are some helpful guidelines:

• Write every day if you can. The morning is an excellent time to write: your mind is fresh; your dreams are still alive. Practice writing your dreams down whenever you can.

• Write for at least 10 minutes. Don't stop. Simply allow the words
to come with no concern for spelling, punctuation or...

Activating Leadership From Within

Move from Ideas to Action - Harness Non-Conscious Brain Power

With our constant stream of emails, voicemails, meetings, conference calls, and so on, it is a minor miracle that any of us can accomplish anything. With our smartphones surgically implanted into our hands, our time is sliced so thinly that we never have the focused time to develop the big-picture perspective required for an action plan, let alone the time to execute it.

"Daily routines, superficial behaviors, poorly prioritized or unfocused tasks leech our capacities—making unproductive busyness perhaps the most critical behavioral problem” in business today, contend Heike Bruch and Sumantra Ghoshal in their book A Bias for Action.

For so many of us—whether CEOs for major corporations, small business owners or solo-entrepreneurs—there is a fundamental disconnection between knowing what needs to be done and doing it. Calling this disconnection the “knowing-doing gap,” Stanford University...
