The Stress & Anger Management Institute (S.A.M.I.) is holding their annual “Nationl Anger Awareness Month.” The SAMI Group is designed to teach and support individuals in getting more positive results in their personal and professional lives. The Institute focuses on gaging the individuals current ability to manage emotions and stress in life, in order to increase productivity. The goal is to eliminate the distraction of misunderstandings, provide the tools for effective communications and emphasize personal accountability.

A conservative study estimates that at least one-third of all lost work days are due to workplace stress, with roughly $33 billion per year in lost business productivity. For every dollar spent in workers compensation, there are ‘hidden’ or indirect costs of about $4.” Since October 2005, “Anger Awareness Month” has helped individuals develop an understanding of, and accountability for, their personal patterns in managing stress, assertive communication, anger, and emotional literacy.
